This is a local favorite diamond in the rough. Although it's not an upscale restaurant, the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff make up for it. The ribeye steak is tender and very delicious. The fried catfish is just like grandma used to make. Yummy!!! We took some friends there for their first visit and they said they can't wait to go back.

Very local spot but the servers treated us like we belonged there. The fish fry on Friday and Saturdays is superb. Had the chocolate cake for dessert which was absolute perfection. I will probably go again tonight for dinner. The atmosphere is a well preserved historic setting where you can feel the generations of patrons in the air - this place is clearly a community staple. Really enjoyed everything about this place and look forward to becoming a regular.

Stopped there today on the way home. No pictures, because I ate faster than I could think. It was really good. Never been there before, and I wish I had. It was peaceful and pretty, and you really feel at home there. Menu's pretty standard, but they do catfish in the late afternoon/evenings. I'll go back to try it. They make their own pies, but you have to order in advance for a full-sized one. They sell small versions without the need for pre-order. I recommend the chess pie! Service is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable.

5stars for this down-home cafe and the kind ladies that work there. I love the home fries, BLT, and crinkle cut fries. If you are lucky, they will have a homemade cheesecake available when you stop in.
